I should have known that something was wrong with this Burger King when I got to the drive-through and half the menu was missing. I placed my order based on my memory of their selections and proceeded to the window to pay. After paying they told me that I would need to pull up to wait for my order because it wasn't ready. I thought that was odd since there was nobody behind me and the restaurant was not at all busy, but I did as I was asked. After a very long wait (at least 15 minutes) they brought the order out to me. It was not until I was on my way down I70 that I realized that my chicken sandwich was covered in mayonnaise, on the OUTSIDE of the bun! To top it all off, their seemed to be something wrong with their soda fountain, because my Coke tasted funny, almost watery. I frequently travel this section of I70, but I will never stop at this Burger King again.
Just plain dirty. Everything was filthy from the touchscreen soft drink dispenser to the bathrooms which obviously had been mopped or cleaned for days. Our shoe soles were sticky from the grime on the floor.
I was not given the shake I ordered at first (they made it after I let them know it was missing). I was charged full price ($4.70 or so) for the "2 for $6" whopper deal, which I almost missed. The manager made it right and thanked me for bringing it to his attention, but I simply can't leave an overwhelmingly positive review as a result. Oh well, the food was fine.
Felt like I was a King!
Not too friendly and very incompetent people working here! We ordered 2 cheeseburgers and they gave them to us without cheese! When we asked, the manager said, I didn't make them! (Rude) then they handed us 2 slices of cold cheese! When we said our kids probably didn't want them cold, they said begrudgingly that they could heat the old hamburgers up with the cheese in the microwave. Unbelievable. If I could give less than one star I would. I will not stop here again while passing thru like we were.
