Denny took great care of us after a breakdown on I-70. Super-friendly and very talented...he worked us in around his typical workload. Spent an extra day in Colby while we waited for the part...but felt like we were in great hands...
Highly recommend. My Chevy K1500's fuel pump decided to give up while traveling east on I70 just west of Colby. Denny recommended a local towing service to his shop at about 5PM. They had me back on the road by 1PM the next day!! Great and timely service, especially for replacing fuel pump, filter, and checking/clearing PCM codes.
Very fortunate to have had auto troubles near Colby, Kansas. Found Denny's and he was the solution. Needed a part for my older Subaru (turbo) that was available in Denver, so had to leave the car with him. Car was with him until fixed. He went beyond the call of duty, and stayed in touch with us on a daily basis. Gave us an honest estimate that we confirmed with Subaru and the internet. Updated us when the part arrived, and went beyond the repair to assess whether there was any other damage. Took the car out on the highway and tested it repeatedly. Denny's is the real deal, and whether you are a local or a traveler, great place to get your car serviced. Many thanks.
We were on our way back to KC from Denver, our car broke down, not knowing where to take it we took it to Denny's after reading the great reviews on line. He looked at if for us quickly assessed the problem, he was very up front at the severity, he called around and explored options for repairs. Honest, so reasonable, and knows his stuff. Highly recommended!
I took my 1999 Ford ranger into these guys to have my Intake manifold gaskets and my valve cover gaskets replaced. i was traveling from Denver colorado to Knoxville, TN and had blown the gaskets. a month later, I started having really bad oil leaks and found out that both the gaskets that were serviced by Denny were leaking pretty bad. I was told to take it to certified shop and that he would fuly warranty the service and parts. the shop that re-diagnosed the problem put Denny at fault. When i called Denny, he offered 100 dollars for "labor". well the issue is that the part itself was $123 and the full service came out to $500, labor costs was $377. he refused to warranty the fix and cussed me out and hung up on me and will not respond back. These guys are shady and WILL NOT FIX YOUR PROBLEM. These are pictures of the leaks 4 months after the service, which was confirmed by another shop, that it is from the Valve cover gaskets and the intake manifold gaskets
