Most hotel rooms' HVAC fans are too loud for me to sleep with on. This one was perfect. I'll stay there again primarily just for that. If your vehicle's plates ain't Kansas, better not exceed 75mph limit by even 1mph, unless you like to have an overzealous, incompetent supposed drug dog being walked around your vehicle. Because if you''re eastbound, surely you're carrying marijuana from Colorado. And if you're westbound, surely you're carrying a "large amount of (drug-scented) cash" TO Colorado.
The worse hotel ever. Had to change rooms three times, one of the key locks didn't work, the other one smelled musky to the point I was crying, they changed us to another room that said non-smoking. It smelled like someone smoked more than a pack in the room. We tried everything to make it work like freebrez but they smell just kept coming back. Trying to take a shower but the water kept shutting off. And I'm not the tallest person but I hit my head taking one. The carpet seems to never been touched. I would rate this a zero but the lowest is a one. Don't stay here.
We were unfortunate and hit a deer in the middle of the night. The tow truck dropped us off at 3 am. There was someone there who helped us get our room, and gave us some leeway on our check out times. The people were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a good a.c. unit. Definitely will stay again if need be.
Worst hotel we have stayed at in a long time.... especially for $180... never again. Room stunk like dog urine. Carpet was nasty. Bathroom was not clean and very dated. Breakfast room was dirty and food was everywhere. No one was attending while guests were eatting. There was large bags of sausage and ham sitting out on the counter, not being kept cool or warm, just sitting at room temperature. Needless to say, we didn't eat. This is the most expensive hotel in the area and not only was it not worth it, it wouldn't have been worth it had it been the cheapest.
Nice, clean hotel, 24 hr fitness room. Nice indoor pool. Ice machine broke so staff kept a cooler full with a scoop. The property is nice but the staff makes a 4 star rating a 5 star rating. My best experience ever in Colby.
